CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Residents and non-residents of New Hampshire can take part in an upcoming Free Fishing Day.

Participants will be able to fish in freshwater or saltwater without a license on Saturday, June 6.

New Hampshire’s Fish and Game Department reminds anglers fishing with friends to maintain the recommended 6 feet of social distancing, whether from a shore or a boat. All other fishing regulations apply, including season dates and bag limits.



The department advises anglers to consider including a few “fishing holes” in their plans, as some locations may be crowded to allow for the 6 feet of socal distancing, in accordance with coronavirus guidance.
