TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A child has died in Tucson after a shooting that appears accidental and self-inflicted, police said Tuesday.
They said officers were called to a west-side home about 1 p.m., but the child was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at a hospital.
Police didn’t immediately disclose the name or age of child or release details about the shooting.
They said the child’s family members were in the home at the time of the shooting, which is being investigated by the police department’s Child Physical Abuse Unit.
