LAUREL, Del. (AP) - Police in Delaware say that charges are forthcoming in the stabbing death of a 16-year-old.
The Salisbury Daily Times reported Wednesday that the Delaware State Police have ruled the mid-April death to be a homicide.
The boy was with three other male teens in Laurel when a fight broke out in the early morning hours of April 18. Police said that all four boys were stabbed during the melee.
The teens then drove to the police department before being taken to a local hospital. The 16-year-old was pronounced dead. He had been stabbed in his upper torso.
The other three teenagers ranged in age from 13 to 16. They sustained non life-threatening injuries.
