“Dilbert” creator Scott Adams says Joseph R. Biden’s supporters may be in for a rude awakening on Election Day, given the sea of American flags on display President Trump’s rallies.

The author of “Win Bigly: Persuasion in a World Where Facts Don’t Matter” says the U.S. flag’s adoption as a de facto symbol of support for the commander in chief should worry Democrats.

“If I were a Biden supporter and noticed the American Flag has become the de facto show of support for Trump, I’d be concerned,” Mr. Adams, who was one of the first social commentators to predict Mr. Trump’s electoral success in 2016, tweeted Monday.

Mr. Adams also predicted the outcome of the federal government’s investigation into Russia’s 2016 election meddling.

The author has amassed over 585,000 Twitter followers for his keen insight into electoral politics.

Monday’s episode of “Real Coffee with Scott Adams” on YouTube, for instance, delved into Mr. Trump’s reaction to the coronavirus pandemic on the campaign trail.

“You have this weird situation where there’s something that’s the right thing to do and you know what it is and it’s to follow the experts and, you know, try to reduce the risk wherever you can.  But then there’s the other part of you that says, ‘I don’t want my leader to be a giant pu—y.’ Right? I mean, there’s some part of you that says, ‘eh, I’ll be cautious, but I’m not sure you should be.’ And I think the president gets that right, by the way. Now, obviously, there’s people [who] have different opinions on that, but for his voters and for the purpose of getting re-elected, I think Trump is reading the room right. That’s what it feels like to me.”
