SEBAGO, Maine (AP) - A Maine man has died in a motorcycle crash and police think speed was a factor.

Aaron Lusk, 32, of Standish was driving his motorcycle northbound in Sebago just after noon on Friday when he went off the roadway, into a ditch and was thrown off the motorcycle, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. He was wearing a helmet.

Lusk was transported to Bridgton Hospital with life-threatening injuries, and later transferred to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston where he died, police said.

Police continue to investigate the crash but said in a statement that “speed appears to be a factor in this incident.”
