MACON, Ga. (AP) - Three Georgia teenagers have been arrested after a fight earlier this month ended with a 13-year-old girl being shot.
Bibb County sheriff’s deputies arrested two 18-year-old men and and a 14-year-old girl, charging each with aggravated assault.
Ja’quez Deshun Brown and Rodricko Desie Balkcom Jr. were both booked into the Bibb County jail on Saturday on adult charges and remained in jail Monday without bail. It’s unclear if either Macon resident has a lawyer representing him.
The girl is charged as a juvenile and is being held at the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center.
Rhonda Hall earlier said the 14-year-old came to her apartment Thursday and asked to see her granddaughter, Li’Princess Hall. After a conversation on the porch, Rhonda Hall says the 14-year-old barged inside and began fighting with Li’Princess. The Halls pushed the girl back outside the apartment, but investigators say the 14-year-old then shouted to men outside to shoot.
The shooting left multiple bullet holes in apartment walls and Li’Princess Hall was wounded in the back. She’s recovering at an Atlanta hospital.
