LACONIA, N.H. (AP) - An apartment building fire in New Hampshire has displaced about 15 people and caused about $500,000 worth of damage on Tuesday, and the fire chief said it was considered suspicious.
Crews were alerted to the fire in Laconia at about 1 a.m. Firefighters said everyone has been accounted for.
The Laconia Daily Sun reports that Fire Chief Kirk Beattie said the fire may have been deliberately set. The cause is under investigation.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
