RIDGELAND, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina officials say they’ve recovered the body of a missing fisherman in the Savannah River.
According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources’ Dive Team, the Ridgeland, South Carolina man failed to return home after a fishing trip earlier this week. The man’s boat was found Tuesday during a search by county emergency responders and SCDNR officers in Hampton County, WYFF-TV reported.
The missing man’s body was recovered Wednesday around 2:45 p.m. It was turned over to the Hampton County Coroner’s Office, which will release his identity.
