INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) - Police have identified a man found dead inside an Independence home this week in what has been deemed a homicide.

Officers were called to a home in the Kansas City suburb around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a disturbance and found the body of 41-year-old Nathan Looker, of Independence, police said in a news release.

Police have not said how Looker died, but have said his death is being treated as a homicide. No suspects in the case had been named or an arrests announced by Friday morning.
