Firefighters rescue 3 people injured in house fire

WEBSTER, N.H. (AP) - Firefighters came to the aid of a woman and two children who were injured in a house fire in Webster.

Firefighters used ladders to rescue the three people on Wednesday as heavy smoke came from the house.

The woman, 37, and a 9-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy were taken to Concord Hospital, and then transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital for additional care and treatment.

Their names and conditions weren’t released.

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
