KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Police in Kansas City are investigating after officers found a man fatally shot outside of his home.

The shooting happened late Wednesday night in a south Kansas City neighborhood, police said in a news release. First responders called to the scene for a report of a shooting found the man - later identified as 34-year-old Kelly Randolph - injured and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the shooting happened during a disturbance between Randolph and another person who did not live in the house. Police had not announced any arrests in the case by Thursday afternoon.
