BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota health officials reported Saturday that an additional three people have died from COVID-19 complications and 105 more people have been confirmed to have the virus.
A total of 1,422 people have died from the virus in North Dakota since the pandemic began and 97,562 people have had confirmed infections.
The number of active infections in the state on Saturday was 1,032 - a number that has been on a gradual decline since peaking on Nov. 13 when more than 10,000 active cases were reported.
Forty-eight people were hospitalized with COVID-19 on Saturday, including eight who were in intensive care units.
Data last updated Thursday shows a total of 96,291 vaccine doses have been administered in North Dakota, and 21,806 people had received the full two doses.
According to The COVID Tracking Project, the seven-day rolling average of daily new cases in North Dakota decreased from 166 new cases per day on Jan. 15 to 127 new cases per day on Jan. 29.
