OPINION:
Last August, China confined 300 million of its inhabitants. France is preparing to face its eighth wave of COVID-19, a pandemic from which hundreds of Americans continue to die every day. And for a few months now, we have been hearing more and more about monkeypox.
So I wonder, how many more infectious diseases do we have to endure before we decide to change things politically?
