San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was convicted of two misdemeanors Monday after he was arrested in a prostitution bust in Ohio.
Court records show the majority owner of the 49ers, whose full name is John Edward York, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and was convicted of possessing criminal tools.
Prosecutors originally charged him with engaging in prostitution before downgrading the charges.
Mr. York, 46, was sentenced to two days in the local jail in Columbiana County and ordered to pay a $1,150 fine, the filing said.
His arrest was first reported by WKBN-TV.
East Palestine police said Mr. York was nabbed at about 9:35 a.m. Sunday at a mobile home community.
Authorities said the operation was conducted by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
Mr. York, who is also the 49ers team president, grew up in Youngstown, Ohio.
