President Trump’s granddaughter Kai Trump is not interested in joining her grandfather in the political arena.
The influencer told “Fox & Friends” on Thursday that she would “never” post about politics on social media.
The 19-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Haydon has seen her profile rise considerably since speaking at the Republican National Convention in 2024.
She plans to attend Miami in the fall on a golf scholarship and has been spotted joining her commander-in-chief grandfather at high-profile events like the NBA Finals.
“I’ve always wanted to do social media, to be honest with you. It’s always been a thing, you know, when I was younger, I watched like Logan Paul, Jake Paul growing up on YouTube and stuff like that,” she told the Fox team. “I finally had the opportunity around after the RNC to do it.”
The golfer now boasts more than 8 million combined followers on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
Her following has allowed her to start her own brand, selling $130 monogrammed sweatshirts.
“Once I had the time for it, I just started doing it and haven’t looked back since,” she said.
But she said she’ll be sticking to the greens and fairways far from Capitol Hill.
“No politics, no,” she said. “Never.”
Six months removed from wrist surgery, she said she’s focused on improving her putting and her mental approach to golf before making her NCAA debut.
