We as a nation have completed 250 years of honoring and supporting our Constitution. We have defended that document against communists outside the U.S.

Yet we have now been defeated in many states from within by the Democratic Socialists of America. They accomplished this the democratic way: in the voting booth.

We don’t want another un-civil war, killing more Americans than our external wars.

So why not allow a jurisdiction to choose between abiding by the rule of law (our Constitution) and socialism? The president or Congress could initiate an end-of-fiscal-year ratification of the Constitution and its compliance — or acceptance of a voluntary secession from the U.S.

The federal government could start relocating all of its assets and offices to welcoming environments. Sanctuary districts would lose all representation in Congress. Federal buildings, including monuments, would become the responsibility of any sanctuary zones.

I am a 93-year-old Democrat who loves his country. I am saddened to see politicians and judges who want to destroy our Constitution and history.
