Last June, a joint U.S.-Israeli precision bombing operation obliterated most of Iran’s ability to build a nuclear bomb.

This past February, those same allies launched a devastating air attack that killed Iran’s “supreme leader” and dozens in his command, destroyed the Iranian navy and most of Iran’s missile capability.

In April, after failed attempts to negotiate a peaceful settlement of the conflict, the U.S. blockaded the Strait of Hormuz and all Iranian seaports to force Iranian compliance into a non-nuclear future.

Last week, after multiple broken promises by Iran during negotiations, the U.S. resumed bombing Iran military targets, after which Iran called President Trump directly and begged him to stop the bombing.

That led to an agreement meeting all U.S. demands. Seems to me a gigantic success for the U.S. on multiple fronts.

But how was it reported in the mainstream media? The Free Press wrote: “Trump Gives Iran a Lifeline and Calls it Peace.” MSNOW wrote, “With tentative Iran deal, Trump secures breakthroughs he already had.” The Washington Post wrote: “Trump sought to break Iran’s regime. He settled for reopening Hormuz.”

This is not misrepresentation; it’s pure and intentional lying. We pay a very high price for a “free press.”
