OPINION:
No one is talking about the architectural style of this thing called the Obama Presidential Center and Library.
It is classic Brutalist, which for a few years was popular after World War II in Europe, especially in France, when no one had money and everyone built the most basic structures possible.
The style has strong ties to the far left/Marxist/communist ideology rampant from 1945 to 1950 in France. Variants of it were the norm in the Soviet Empire too. The French architects who embraced this blunt design were far leftists. They openly stated that it was strength and power in a blunt form.
Former President Barack Obama embraced this and insisted on making a blunt, radical-leftist dystopian statement: brute force to push an agenda no matter who fights it. It’s just like Mr. Obama crushed he neighbors who fought the construction and the contractors to whom he owes millions.
It is a very direct and clear statement that Mr. Obama is and always will be of the far left.
