Israel is on high alert due to Hezbollah, Iran’s proxy terror group, which has been striking the Jewish nation with regularity from Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the end of military operations between Israel and Hezbollah remains the main sticking point in the ceasefire and peace plan for America’s engagement against Iran. And while critics of the Jewish nation accuse Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of standing in the way of America coming to a deal with Iran to cease all attacks and reopen the Strait of Hormuz for free passage of all vessels, fact is the IDF is operating from a point of defense.

If Hezbollah stopped striking Israel, all bombing would cease in the northern area of the Jewish nation.

As Yael Eckstein, president and CEO of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, said, Israel isn’t looking to acquire land from Lebanon or engage in never-ceasing war.

But given the geography of Israel and its proximity to Lebanon, the only way the Jewish nation can protect itself from Hezbollah is to establish a buffer area and “do not enter” zone on the border, to keep the terror group from using the land as a launch site for missiles.
