Letter to the editor: Tariffs are hurting GOP’s election chances

OPINION:

President Trump should realize that some of his tariffs are hurting those who would otherwise vote for the Republicans in November and in 2028.

The cost of imported goods for those items that America does not produce has become too high. I have cancelled orders involving imports because the price is now prohibitive.
