Shutdown countdown showdown

All of the cable news networks are running countdown clocks to help viewers know the last minute, second, and, in the case of Fox News Channel, the last hundredth of a second, until a midnight government shutdown.

But while Fox has the most thorough clock, MSNBC has the biggest, complete with a Capitol dome graphic, stuck in the lower left corner of its screen.

Fox’s clock does come in second-biggest, followed by Bloomberg, Fox Business Network and CNN. CNBC didn’t appear to take part in the clock showdown.

Fox News Channel did try for extra credit, however, with a countdown clock prominently displayed on its website.
