An SUV in President Bush’s motorcade crashed into a civilian vehicle on the way to Camp David this afternoon. The president’s vehicle was not involved.

Around 3 p.m., the motorcade was weaving in and out of bumper-to-bumper traffic on Interstate 270 north, in the middle of a snow storm.

Just south of Urbana, Maryland, an SUV in the motorcade spun off the road in a collision with another vehicle.

The president’s vehicle and the rest of the motorcade continued on to the presidential retreat, which is further north in Thurmont, Maryland.
