Luxury home: Capitol Hill restorations uncover 2 gems

Though many visitors flock to Georgetown to view classic homes and taste the charms of a historic neighborhood, Washingtonians know Capitol Hill offers equally appealing restored homes; narrow, tree-lined streets; and a village ambience.
Shops, restaurants and night life are within walking distance of many of the homes and offer the benefits of urban living, yet Capitol Hill neighbors are also known for greeting each other on the sidewalk and in the local parks as if they live in a small town instead of within a few blocks of the Capitol and Supreme Court.
