CARSON, CALIF. (AP) - U.S. national team left back Heath Pearce has been traded from FC Dallas to Chivas USA.
Dallas receives allocation money from Chivas USA as part of Tuesday's deal.
The 26-year-old played for Denmark's Nordsjaelland and Germany's Hansa Rostock before signing with Dallas in 2009. He also played at right back and in midfield for Dallas last season.
Pearce has made 33 international appearances. He was on the preliminary 30-man U.S. roster for last year's World Cup, then was cut when it was trimmed to 23.
