Police have identified an Upper Marlboro man as the victim in Thursday's fatal shooting at a Temple Hills playground.
Adrian Jerome Perry, 23, of the 4500 block of Bishopmill Drive was fatally shot Thurday afternoon, said Prince George's County police.
Officers were called to a community playground that was part of an apartment complex in the 4700 block of 23rd Parkway around 3:30 p.m. for a report of gunshots. Perry was found suffering from a gunshot wound and taken to the hospital where he died.
As of Friday, police had not made any arrests in the killing.
The killing was the 54th criminal homicide in Prince George's County this year. There also have been four fatal police-involved shootings and two justifiable homicides.
