It’s hard for Cousins to be better than he was against the Ravens. He was 2-for-2 on the game-tying drive, a sample size too small to judge.
If he makes his first career NFL start Sunday, it’s a whole different ballgame.
“I walked away from the game, I said to my brother, I said, ‘Kyle, I went 2-for-2. Let’s not get carried away,’ and yet people want to praise you,” Cousins said. “And if I go out there and made the mistake to lose the game, people would be giving me too much blame. But when you go the distance, you got a little bit more of a chance to really show your true colors.”
