Ocean City streets flooded, debris litters shore

OCEAN CITY | Some streets remain covered with water in Ocean City with flooding extending as far as two blocks from the bay in some areas.

Ocean City Council Member Joe Hall II was out walking the boardwalk Tuesday near a fishing pier that was damaged by the storm. He says a piling found its way into his yard with other debris. He found his trash can four blocks away.

Hall, who has lived in the area since 1970, says the flooding is the worst he's ever seen.

Brooke McClure of Ocean City was out walking her dog Dixie and taking pictures. The 51-year-old McClure says she has been sharing photos on Facebook because everyone wanted to see them.

Officials had turned off her power protectively, but it was back on by Tuesday morning.
