MIAMI — Investigators say a fire swept through a Miami strip mall, killing 30 English bulldog puppies. The Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/VOvWsq) reports the puppies died of smoke inhalation at Beverly Hills Puppies. The fire broke out about 10 p.m. Wednesday at Fancy Beads before damaging several other stores in the shopping center. Officials say it took about 40 firefighters more than an hour to put out. There was no word on how the fire started. No further details were immediately available.
