The Super Bowl. Lady Gaga. March Madness. Tickets to any one of these events are extremely costly, but for the right price, House Democrats are willing to put them into a donor's hands.
The Washington Free Beacon reported on the exchange of highly sought-after tickets for political gifts:
• A gift of $10,000 to Michigan Representative John Conyers' reelection effort will land donors two tickets to the Super Bowl.
• Representative Gwen Moore of Wisconsin is asking for $4,000 for a pair of club level seats at the Verizon Center in Washington for a Feb. 25 performance by pop star Lady Gaga.
• Florida Representative Ted Deutch is looking for donors who can be enticed by an upcoming Pink show at the Verizon Center.
• Democratic Reps. Jim Moran of Virginia and Dutch Ruppersberger of Maryland are offering tickets to March's NCAA basketball tournament for $1,000 apiece.
Neither the House members holding the events nor the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee responded to the Free Beacon's requests for comment.

Although contemporary American politics is an unforgiving environment, it’s still wide open to implement a legitimate worldview based on timeless Biblical values.

We all eat, and food should be fun and healthful. Food Commune celebrates the food we eat, the people we eat with and the spirits we enjoy.
