MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) - The Grant County sheriff’s office says a 31-year-old man was seriously injured in an explosion at a home in the central Washington community of Moses Lake.

The sheriff’s office said Justin McKinney of Moses Lake was injured in the Tuesday blast. He was taken to a local hospital, then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

An initial investigation that involves the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives indicates the explosion appears to be an accident but the cause has not yet been determined.
