NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) - Customs and Border Protection officers in Nogales seized the third biggest shipment of marijuana at any Arizona port of entry after spotting the drug in a tractor-trailer carrying watermelons.

CBP says officers at the Mariposa Commercial Facility found $7.4 million worth of pot in the truck on Thursday. That’s over 7 tons of marijuana.

A drug-sniffing dog alerted officers to the drugs, which were placed within a shipment of watermelons in a truck driven by a 51-year-old driver from Nogales, Sonora.

The driver was arrested but hasn’t been identified.
