BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore Police say a man has been taken into custody after firing a weapon at officers.

Law enforcement officials said Sunday that officers were on patrol late Saturday when they encountered a man with two guns. Police say the man fired at the officers and the officers returned fire as they chased the man.

Police say the officers did not strike the suspect. The man fled to the roof of a building, where he was taken into custody.

Police say the man faces charges but have not disclosed his identity or said what those charges would be.
