TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) - The Inland Seas Education Association in northern Michigan is offering an opportunity to see what’s below the water without getting in the water.
The association’s Below the Bay program is taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Discovery Pier in Traverse City.
Individuals or groups can operate an underwater remote vehicle from the deck of the association’s schooner Utopia to explore the underwater scenery of Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay.
