Castro’s late goal give Perth draw with Phoenix in A-League

SYDNEY (AP) - Diego Castro’s 82nd-minute goal gave first-place Perth a 1-1 draw with the Wellington Phoenix in the A-League on Sunday.

Roy Krishna gave Wellington a 1-0 lead in the 44th minute before Castro’s late equalizer allowed the Glory to maintain a two-point lead over the Melbourne Victory.

In other matches, Japan midfielder Keisuke Honda scored a goal as the second-place Victory extended their winning streak to four matches with a 4-0 win over Western Sydney.

Ben Halloran scored both goals in fourth-place Adelaide’s 2-1 win over Brisbane, and Sydney FC moved into third place after defeating last-place Central Coast 2-1.
