ULA was formed in December 2006 by combining the teams at these companies which provide spacecraft launch services to the government of the United States.     A federal judge has granted an injunction that keeps a Boeing-Lockheed Martin joint venture from procuring Russian-made rocket engines used in some U.S. military satellite launches.
