The next time someone tries to convince you that Bill Gates really, really will send you $1000 for forwarding an e-mail, that there’s a concerted effort by the (long-deceased) Madalyn Murray O’Hair to ban the name of the Deity from all commercial and public airwaves, or some other bit of piffle, check out the dedicated work of site editors Barbara and David P. Mikkelson, who are up for a “Webby” award this year. Then tell the (probably) well-intentioned soul who forwarded the ridiculous claim to, well, get a life.
