The Dialogue

The Dialogue: Two sides, one conversation.

Most political coverage gives you the soundbite. The Dialogue gives you the reasoning.

In this recurring video series from The Washington Times, hosts Billy Hallowell and Kelly Sadler sit down with the advocates, lawmakers and policy experts shaping the legal and policy debates of the day. Each episode takes one guest and one topic, with enough time for the guest to explain what they believe and why.

Every so often, the series becomes a debate. Two guests with sharply different views take on a single question, so you can hear both sides argued face to face.

Whichever format you're watching, the goal is the same: to help you understand the issue and see where reasonable people stand on it. Throughout, the conversation stays grounded in what the law or policy actually says.
