Centex Homes is building 200 town-home-style condominiums at Buckingham Station in Germantown, a community with a clubhouse, swimming pool and a tot lot.

The development is 15 minutes from the Shady Grove Metro station, 1.3 miles from the Germantown MARC commuter station and near shops and parks.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick front and sides, 6-inch beaded vinyl siding on the rear wall, a rear deck, professional landscaping, a sodded lawn and a garage.

Inside, all four models feature two or three bedrooms; 2½ baths; ceramic tile flooring in the foyer and baths; high ceilings on the main and lower levels; crown moldings; 42-inch oak raised-panel cabinets, a pantry and recessed lighting in the kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; a high-tech wiring package and gas heat.

The homes have 1,246 to 1,783 finished square feet, with base prices from $367,990 to $416,990. Combined condominium and homeowner association fees are $323 per month.

The Orchid model, with 1,730 square feet, is priced from $402,990. This home features an entrance foyer, closets and a garage door on the lower level.

The main level has a combined living and dining room, a powder room and an open family room, breakfast area and center-island kitchen with a laundry closet. Atrium doors link the family room and kitchen to the deck.

Upstairs, the master suite has a private balcony, a walk-in closet, a standard closet and a bath.
