BAGHDAD (AP) - Iraqi police officials say two roadside bombs in Iraq’s western Anbar province have killed one officer and wounded three other people.

Police Maj. Khalil Jabbar says a roadside bomb targeting a police patrol exploded Sunday in central Fallujah, killing one officer.

Police 1st Lt. Bashar Khudaeir says a second roadside bomb targeting a patrol in another part of the city wounded one officer and two civilians.

Iraq’s security forces continue to be targets of insurgents despite a dramatic drop in violence across the country.

Attacks in the Sunni-dominated Anbar province have dropped dramatically since tribes turned against al-Qaida.
