Why do the media always stop short in their description of the DREAM Act? It is not just about allowing students here illegally to go to college and then earn citizenship.

The DREAM Act is a rolling amnesty because these students would also be permitted to sponsor their parents for legalization. Thanks to our insane chain migration policy, the parents would then be eligible to bring members of their extended families into our country.

Just as troubling is that this legislation has no provision for verifying the information supplied by applicants. Does this nation’s immigration policy, already plagued by abuse and fraud, need more legislation that encourages illegal immigration and then rewards those who trample upon our sovereignty?
