BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA (AP) - Top-seeded Robin Soderling of Sweden has moved into the Brisbane International final with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Radek Stepanek.

Soderling, a two-time French Open finalist, broke Soderling’s serve on Saturday and quickly grabbed a 3-0 lead.

In the second set, Stepanek saved a match point in the 10th game and then broke Soderling’s serve again, ending the Swedish player’s run of 37 straight service wins in Brisbane.

But Soderling broke back in the 11th game, then held serve in the 12th to win the match and advance to the final against either defending champion Andy Roddick or Kevin Anderson, who were to play later Saturday.
