ANALYSIS/OPINION:

It’s heartening to see the Pentagon on the ball against China (“Pentagon battle concept has Cold War posture on China,” Web, Nov. 9).

But it’s not soon enough. China’s furious and unnecessary military buildup is unprecedented - except for the buildup in Nazi Germany. When coupled with the republic’s espionage, cyber-attacks and threats about nuking American cities over Taiwan, China has given us every reason to be on guard.

The only question is how to guard against the traitors who would sell us out to China.
