ANALYSIS/OPINION:

A recent Associated Press article published in The Washington Times (“Scientist admits taking, leaking think-tank papers,” Web, Wednesday) refers to the Heartland Institute as “a leader in denying mainstream climate science.”

Perhaps The Washington Times should reconsider the use of “mainstream climate science” as a description. With the growing public skepticism of climate science, it is no longer clear which position qualifies as “mainstream.”
