ANALYSIS/OPINION:

We need stricter control of criminals, not stricter control of law-abiding citizens. The Second Amendment serves a proper and useful purpose in protecting the citizenry. The six seconds it takes to draw a weapon is much faster than the six-or-so minutes it takes for the police to show up.

The only people helped by more gun control are the criminals, as they could not care less what the laws are, and they get weapons illegally anyway. Don’t turn this into Mexico (although that’s already nearly happened, too). Strive for open carry for citizenry so we can travel more safely and more freely in America.
