NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD is asking the public for help in solving a string of Manhattan robberies.

The suspect, who’s armed with a knife, has targeted five dry cleaners and laundries since Feb. 22 in the 13th and 19th precincts.

On March 27, he punched a 70-year-old woman in the face and threw her to the ground when she refused to hand over money. That happened at a cleaner’s on East 29th Street.

Another victim was punched on March 12.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or go to the group’s website.
