ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A woman charged with fatally stabbing her grandfather in Allentown has been returned to Pennsylvania.

Twenty-one-year-old Chene Mejias of Allentown is charged in the death of 65-year-old Wilson Mejias, who was found dead in the bedroom of his apartment March 10.

Police say the suspect lived there with her grandfather but fled to New York City after the slaying.

She was extradited to Pennsylvania on Monday and is being held at the Lehigh County prison without bail on a charge of criminal homicide.

A preliminary hearing is set for April 7.
