LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Travelers have recorded their second consecutive win in a 2-1 victory over the Midland RockHounds.

Jett Bandy knocked in the first run and scored the winning run Friday night to help the Travs improve to 5-2. Five pitchers combined to hold the Hounds to six base hits with starter Drew Rucinski (2-0) earning his second win over Midland in six days.

The Hounds’ lone run scored in the first inning when Connor Crumbliss hit a solo home run (1) off Rucinski giving the RockHounds a brief lead.

Rucinski finished five innings and gave up five hits and two walks while adding six strikeouts. After giving up a leadoff single in the second inning to Jefry Marte, Rucinski retired the next three batters.
