TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police say the manager of four homeowner’s associations in Tuscaloosa County is accused of stealing more than $80,000 from the groups.

Tuscaloosa police Sgt. Brent Blankley tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/1m89E0q ) 50-year-old Jeffrey Lang Riley was the target of an eight-month investigation and was arrested on theft charges Wednesday morning.

Blankley says authorities believe the theft was executed over the course of four years and the evidence has been presented to a grand jury.

Blankley says Fox Ridge Homeowners Association, Thornbury Homeowners Association, The Village At Magnolia Homeowners Association and Clear Creek Colony Homeowners Association were impacted by the thefts.

Riley is being held on $30,000 bond in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, it’s unclear if he has an attorney.
