THORNTON, Colo. (AP) - Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Thornton.

Officer Matt Barnes says officers were called just before 10 p.m. Thursday on reports that a man lying motionless in the street had just been hit by a vehicle. Investigators determined the victim, whose name and age have not been released, was initially hit by a van and then by another vehicle.

Police say they found the van Saturday morning and arrested Dannel Bond Kimble for investigation of vehicular homicide.
