NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Domino’s pizza delivery driver in Newark.

Police say it happened Saturday around 1:50 a.m. in the parking lot of 500 Stamford Drive.

The victim, a 20 year-old male, told police that he was delivering two pizzas to an “apartment D” at that address. When man arrived, however, he found that all the apartments were numbers. Police say the driver went back to his vehicle and was approached by a man who displayed a small black handgun and said “give me what you got.”

The victim turned over money and a cell phone and the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black bandanna and black gloves.
